Available spots
Service Description
Join Cathy Cash on Saturday, May 31st from 10-12:30, as she teaches you how to make the cutest garden gnomes from a chunk of clay!! You will learn how to shape the clay to create the gnome form and then add pieces of clay together to make each gnome unique! Participants can anticipate making a gnome that is 12ish inches tall, big enough to tuck under your favorite plant in your garden!! Once made, each gnome will be painted using Speedball underglazes. The gnomes will need to dry for a few days in the studio before being bisque fired, then given a coat of clear glaze by staff and then one more final glaze firing. Gnomes will be ready for pick up 2-3 weeks after class. This class is for all makers ages 15 and up. All materials and firings are included. No clay experience is needed.
