Layering Glazes 101

Service Description

Join Sassy Smyth, as she presents the basics of glazes and glazing, and then leads an in-depth discussion on how to combine different glazes to get amazing effects on your pottery!!!! Participants will learn about the importance of test tiles and will try their own glaze combinations on provided test tiles that will be fired at the studio and available for pick up 2-3 weeks after the class. This is for potters with a basic understanding of glazes and some experience with brush glazing. This workshop meets Monday, March 24th from 6-8:30pm. The fee for the workshop is $60.
