"Pop In" Pottery Class

Join Sassy Smyth on June 18th and learn to throw pottery on the wheel!!! She will be offering the "Pop In" Pottery Class from 10-12 in the morning and again from 6-8 in the evening!! Two chances to come get your hands muddy at Create Pottery Studio!! This one-time class is just right for folks who have never tried pottery, or those looking for a refresher! In this 2 hour workshop, you will be guided thru the basic steps of making a pot on the wheel and have fun practicing centering, opening and pulling a wall. The purpose of this class is to try your hand at pottery and you can choose a favorite piece or 2 to leave at the studio to be glazed and fired by staff. (additional fees will be charged if more that 2 pieces are chosen). Completed pieces will be ready for pick up 2-3 weeks after class. This class is for ages 15 and up.
