The Art of Watercolor

Service Description

Whether you are aspiring to become a professional artist or just want to have fun learning a new hobby, you will come away from this class with the tools and knowledge to be successful! In this 6-week course, you will learn: - detailed information about watercolor paints, brushes, papers and support tools - how to mix colors - special techniques to enhance your painting - how to do various washes - creating a good composition - how to paint skies, landscapes, objects and still lifes - proper methods of matting and framing watercolors In addition, we will touch on using watercolors to embellish journals and other exciting ways to put your watercolors to use. A set of watercolors, brushes and paper will be provided and will be yours to keep as you continue your watercolor journey! The Art of Watercolor meets on Sunday afternoons from 2-4pm Sept 29th to November 3rd. Ages 16 to Adult Instructor: Diana Eller
