Service Description
Watercolor From the Beginning and Beyond is a 6-week course that will take the beginning watercolorist to the next level of fundamental skills required to understand and master this unique and exacting medium. Students will explore, expand upon and refine skills in the following: - Painting diverse genres including landscapes, botanicals and other objects found in nature - Creating good sketches - Learning to simplify & avoid overworking - Color theory, mixing and history of colors - Creating luminosity in paintings - Trouble-shooting problems - Exploring resources and other artists Students will need to bring watercolors and brushes. Other materials (paper, pencils, etc.) will be provided.
