STUDIO POLICIES:

CLASS WITHDRAWALS

We are happy to issue a full refund or studio credit if a registered student drops out of a class at least 2 weeks prior to the start date of the session (this enables us to open up his/her spot to another student).

If a student withdraws from a class less than 2 weeks in advance, or a class already in session, the full dollar amount of any unused paid for classes may be applied towards future class tuition or other events in the studio for any member of the family (camps, workshops, holiday events, birthday parties, etc.), or used to purchase gift certificates.

MISSED CLASSES

Should you or your child(ren) need to miss a class, please call the studio prior to the start of the scheduled class. We will be happy to schedule a make-up class (preferably during the same week). Please note: Any class that is missed without notice is considered a “no show” & is not tracked; it cannot be made up and no refund or credit will be given for that missed class. For a withdrawal after the first class, a prorated studio credit will be provided that may be used any time during the next 12 months.

In the rare event a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, we will either give you a refund or apply the class fee to another class at your option.

SOCIAL MEDIA AND PHOTOGRAPHY

By enrolling in classes, you give Create the permission to use photos of you and/or your child(ren) in social media and other forms of advertisement. Please contact the studio immediately upon registering should you wish for your photos to be excluded.

MEDICAL, BEHAVIORAL, DEVELOPMENTAL ISSUES

For your everyone's safety, Students and /or Parents/Guardians are responsible for providing detailed information on the online Registration Form regarding all medical conditions (such as allergies, diabetes, etc.) as well as behavioral and/developmental conditions (such as ADHD, autism, etc.).

We require all students and/or children who are prescribed an epi-pen, inhaler, or diabetic monitor carry it with them at all times while at the studio, no exceptions. Students and/or Parents/Guardians assume full responsibility for their child’s allergies and medical conditions.

SICK POLICY

At Create, we prefer to share creativity, not germs. In consideration for others, please do not  attend or send your child to the studio when feeling under the weather. Additionally if you or your child is too sick for work/school, you/they are also too sick to attend pottery class later that same day. We reserve the right to restrict admission or send a student home, when, in our opinion that student is ill or risks the health or well-being of others. Please contact the studio to make special arrangements for a sick day make-up session.

BAD WEATHER

Create will follow the Iredell-Statesville Schools’ schedule in the event of bad weather. Check our website home page and/or social media for announcements. If the studio is closed due to weather, we will notify you of make-up classes. If school is delayed, the studio will hold classes at its regular time; however, please contact the studio if it is not possible for you or your child to attend. Please check our website and social media for updates, or call the studio for special announcements.

FOOD ALLERGY INFORMATION

We strive to be allergy conscious and provide a safe environment for your everyone . Students and/or Parents/Guardians are responsible for indicating any allergies or other medical conditions of yourself or your child on the Registration Form, and promptly updating us if there are any changes to that information.
